Production home builder operating in multiple metropolitan areas throughout the southeast U.S. seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their Dallas-based team.

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing residential operations in all phases of the construction process, including general supervision, scheduling, safety and compliance, quality control, budgeting, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all aspects for a quality building process from development to scheduling through to final construction, ensuring a timely completion of homes

• Provide oversight over people, schedules, contracts, materials, and budget

• Manage various labor needs, including scheduling, insurance, and scope of work

• Maintain high standards, holding suppliers and subcontractors accountable for their work

• Comply with construction specifications and standards

• Maintain safe and clean job sites, compliant with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements

• Oversee the scheduling, delivery and responsible use of materials

• Perform formal inspections and maintain quality control

• Conduct customer calls/meetings and answer questions about the building process

• Complete homes and all customer walk through items prior to closing

• Track and control construction expenses to maintain costs within budget

• Prepare reports on daily, monthly and quarterly basis, as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of residential production building experience and proven management experience

• General construction knowledge with the ability to read and understand construction plans and knowledge of residential building codes

• Demonstrated success supervising construction projects

• Proven cost control experience, completing projects on schedule and within budget

• High School Diploma required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred

• Capable of working in a fast track environment and managing multiple projects

• Proactive, Organized, and Solution-oriented

• Basic computer skills (Experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on Customer Service
